Queen Taese, also known as the Queen of Black Homeschooling, is an award winning master educator for 20+ years, a 3 category bestselling author, international keynote speaker, curriculum developer, Black homeschool/educational consultant, and visionary who is a trailblazing business woman and homeschool mother
for over 23 years. She has worked directly with over 50,000 Black children and families in diverse settings and has now officially expanded her brand to 12 countries having an even greater impact throughout the Afrikan Diaspora.
Queen Taese and her works have been featured on everything from NBC and Huffington Post to Your Black World, Voyage ATL and more. She also loves her work with the Cares Mentoring Movement founded by the former Essence editor-in-chief, Susan Taylor, in which she has done staff development, certified yoga instruction, and facilitated her “Little Seeds To Baobab Trees” early childhood development program. She has taught and learned from thousands of children, as well as designed Afrikan-centered curricula, educational tools, resources, children’s events, and cultural conferences globally. To name a few, some of those entities are Roots to Fruits Homeschool & Cultural Collective of which she serves as director, The Children’s Afrikan Ball, The Children of The Sun Fun Fest, The Watoto Kwanzaa Jamboree, Brunch By The Baobab Tree, The Children’s Afrikan Cinema, Indigo Vibes Yoga, The Brown Baby Soul Lounge, and her signature gathering, The Liberated Minds Black Homeschool and Education Expo that draws thousands of Black people from all over the US and
around the world featuring hundreds of Black scholars, homeschoolers and educators. Queen Taese is excited to
now be preparing for the Liberated Minds Expo’s 10th Anniversary Global Celebration! To add even more,
Queen Taese, is the editor and a writer for the Liberated Minds Black Homeschool & Education Magazine and
the creator of the Liberated Minds Black Education Resource Directory App (available on Apple & Google),
which both are the first of its kind.
Since then, Queen Taese has founded the Liberated Minds Black Homeschool & Educational Institute, which is
an educational empire forging a new reality for the wholistic cultivation of children throughout the Afrikan
Diaspora. Its tri-fold mission consists of the cultural development of Black children as scholars, leaders, passion-preneurs, and innovators that serve the Black community; empowerment of the Black family, and the creation and maintenance of the intergenerational wealth that is needed to shape a future full of prosperity, power, and legacy. The Liberated Minds Black Homeschool & Education Institute features an online campus for both youth and adults, and a remarkable membership while serving as a pillar that provides culturally relevant resources, trainings, and vast options of everyday support for a true ”Liberation Lifestyle.”
Queen Taese continues to create and provide support to culturally conscious community projects and endeavors
aimed at Liberating the Minds of Afrikan families everywhere. She is currently traveling to share her story as a
speaker, passion-preneur coach, and master class facilitator offering information, inspiration, “ancient-
innovative” perspectives, and mind-bending tools and techniques that have proven to be life-changing for those
who use them.
